this is extremedly beautiful, the color schame and the details are gorgeous. I love the texture of the clothes, but the softness of her hair it's what I like the most, you did an amazing job here, it kinda reminds me of =noah-kh but yours is so much softer (sorry if you don't like being compared to another artist, but I absolutely love his work) *favs*
Delicate is the first word that comes to mind, and ascetic. There's something about this picture that holds that serene, safe quality that you can only experience as a child. And I don't mean in that 'childhood is all roses and fluffy bunnies' kind of way. I mean like when you're sick and you are surrounded by the love and concern from your family, that unconditional devotion that makes you feel so at peace. When I was young, I was in the hospital for many weeks because of an infection that was spreading from my spine to my blood. Looking back, the time spent in that sterile room seems like a dream. It's hard to believe it really happened. All I can clearly remember is the love from my family, and everything I see is so soft, like this picture. Really, I don't mean to get sentimental, or be one of those strangers who spill their guts to you when you really probably couldn't give a care (I'm not even fond of over-sharing from people I don't know), but I wanted to say thank you, for bringing me back to a time when life was serene, even as it was slipping from my grasp. This picture is beautiful to me, in more way than one.
You're welcome. Thank you for being an actual artist who can portray emotions, and not just put lines in familiar patterns. Without you, people woudn't have art they could identify with. I wish you luck in all your future artistic endeavors. I know if you choose to, you can go far.
